Autumn McKee

Active in: Hyperloop

I graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a degree in Computer Science in 2025. My final-year project was displaying GNSS data (Galileo, GPS, etc.) with a theme heavily inspired by 1983’s “WarGames” (this extended to dressing up as the General from the movie for the final demonstration of my project).

During my degree, I completed a placement year at Kainos, a software company based in Northern Ireland. There I worked on several projects for UK government bodies, including the Department for Environment and The Pensions Regulator, and NHS England.

I originally visited CERN as a summer student in 2025, and am now a full stack developer for Hyperloop, the Run 3 analysis train system for ALICE which allows analysers to utilise Grid and analysis facilities for their analysis. Hyperloop is responsible for the submission of around 100 PB of data for analysis per month.

In my own time, I love playing indie games, working on my own programming projects, and just generally experimenting with computers, along with walking in the countryside, and travelling to visit new places.
