Active in: PWG-LF, Upgrade, PWG-JE

After growing up in Mainz, I pursued my studies in Kaiserslautern and Heidelberg. After my experience as summer student at CERN, I joined the ALICE group of Prof. Dr. Johanna Stachel for my diploma and doctoral theses. Following my fascination for the combination of fundamental physics and technology I worked on jet phenomenology and measurements as well as instrumentation. Later, I held fellowships at CERN and INFN Torino, during which I expanded my experience around pp physics and Monte Carlo generators as well as silicon pixel detectors. Since 2020, I am a research physicist at CERN working on analyses of heavy-flavour jets, the exploration of novel analysis techniques as well as the ALICE upgrades.
