Active in: PWG-JE, PWG-HF

I did my PhD at the University of Birmingham, investigating the resolution scale of the Quark-Gluon plasma with respect to colour charges by studying the different rates of two pronged jets in proton-proton and Pb-Pb collisions. I joined CERN as a research fellow in 2018, transitioning to a staff member in 2022. During this time I have focused on the study of charm-initiated jets, using their substructure to probe fundamental properties of QCD such as the dead-cone effect, the mass dependence of the splitting function and the limits of the factorisation theorem.
Within the collaboration I have undertaken various responsibilities such as PWG convenor, development of the jet framework in O2 for Run 3 analyses, as well as performing shifts for the Central Trigger and Physics Data processing groups. I have also participated in cross-collaboration activities such as convening the LPCC subgroup on electroweak bosons and jets, organising the CERN-Fermilab summer school and Cross-Collider talk series, as well as representing CERN on the ECFA-ECR panel.
Outside of work I enjoy football, hiking, skiing and playing board games. I also love cooking and am a big Liverpool fan.
